@Paisano

Web Site:  The Paisano: Renaissance 2.0

Web Site:  Dad-O-Matic

Twitter Profile Says: “Editor-in-Chief, Dadomatic.com. I.T. Professional, writer, blogger, inventor, artist, poet. Writes for Mashable.com and many others.”

If you visit Paisano’s blog, you find out immediately that he really digs technology.  He participates in memes.  He writes about things – sometimes – just because they are cool.  He also understands that technology, and that’s where the magic starts. His Twitter profile indicates he started working on IT stuff just a few years after I did.  I remember DOS and computers with no hard drives at all…he remembers pre-BSOD (Blue Screen of Death).  We have similar career paths, and I believe I first followed him because he is an IT Manager.  I’m a Director of IT Services, and I worked my up that same way…then you add he’s a poet, inventor, writer – and dad.

Paisano is also Editor-in-Chief of Dad-o-matic – a blog started by Chris Brogan as a place where guys like Chris, and Pai, and hey – maybe myself one day – can go and write about being fathers for a while instead of spending so much time immersed in technology and work.  It’s the kind of site that reminds you of the good people behind everything we share and enjoy.

Pai’s tweetstream is filled with helfpul links, retweets, comments, humor, and information.  He is knowledgeable and helpful and engages people readily.  You’ve heard this before…my catch phrase…he “gets” it.  He’s been tagged as one of the top 25 Social Media people to watch in 2009 : @TedMurphy.
