Lol…I got you. You're right. Any technology is only as good as the use it's put to. If you can't take the time to learn to use the tools you are given, you can't complain about the lack of results and blame the tools….

Very true, but the Internet is the the only place this happens.
Its the mindset of many people today, to expect technology to DO things FOR them instead of using technology as the tool it really is. Technology helps you do something, it doesn't do it for you.

I was inspired to write the post because of another burst of spam / mindless drivel from "marketers" and experts on Twitter…I often have to step back and realize not everyone has spent the time, effort, or brain waves to "get" certain things, and a lot of folks never will. Anyway…felt like venting some…glad you found them and read them…welcome.

These are all good insights, but to me, it's like "no duh" stuff. I suppose because I am so used to the internet in my life that it doesn't present as a magical thing to me. Just like any other business tool that needs to be considered.

That's because – regardless of what people seem to believe – only a small handful of people really understand the uses and possibilities even of the box they are already in.
