Bacon & Cheese Flavored Fried Crickets…

You heard me right. My son Billy and I recently traveled to Baltimore, where he helped me work on the company network for a couple of days. On our way back we stopped at a place called HORNES. I stopped to buy Webkinz for my daughter, but we found SO much more. For instance, we got my mom a redneck shot glass the size of an orange juice tumbler. We got toys, t-shirts, and souvenirs. On the way out is when the real fun started.

By the counter they had all day suckers with real scorpions in the center, and beside those, boxes of fried and flavored crickets. Yep…REAL crickets. Think “Survivor” here. We got one Scorpion pop and one box of bacon and cheese flavored crickets. This week Bill’s friend Chris is visiting, and we decided to give the crickets a try…
