That means a lot man. That book started as something just funny and light and ended up being a lot more. I spent a lot of long morning runs thinking about what came next, studying the town (it's lightly based on Hertford) and just - in general - working my way through what turned into a serious work.

You're in no danger of losing friendship here. You were around through some of my worst times...

It was indeed a great year for you. Congrats again on the success, may it continue for years to come.

And your advice is definately of use. I doubt very seriously if I would've gotten to the point where I am now without your help and friendship.

And on a side note... The Not Quite Right Reverend Cletus J. Diggs & The Currently Accepted Habits of Nature RAWKED!!!! Seriously, I just finished it a bit ago and it was fantastic. Excellent pacing, memorable characters and a creation (or recreation?) of environment so three dimensional, it almost had me checking for ticks as we left the swamp. This one has officially knocked Deep Blue from the top spot of my favorite books from you.

Hey, I'm thankful to have reached a point where my advice and help is of use to other writers. I remember a time not all that long ago when I was the one in need of help - there were people there for me. (Refuses to write pay it forward because it's too cliche)
